Meet Tamara Adams, PharmD, CPP
I'm Tamara Adams, and I help women who've been told their labs are normal find the root cause and feel like themselves again.
On paper, I'm a Doctor of Pharmacy and residency-trained clinical pharmacist with more than 25 years in healthcare, a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner licensed to order labs and prescribe in North Carolina, certified through the BHRT Training Academy, and trained in functional medicine through A4M, IFM, and the Kharrazian Institute, plus the Bale Doneen Method for heart attack and stroke prevention.
None of that helped me in 2020, when I started waking up at 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30 every night, my resting heart rate climbed, I developed anxiety for the first time in my life, and a frozen shoulder left me unable to reach into the back seat of my car for a box of tissues. My primary care doctor and my OB/GYN both told me my labs were normal, it was a phase, and we don't do that here.
I found estrogen and progesterone online and got 80% better. Then I found someone who would look at my thyroid and testosterone against optimal instead of normal, and I lost the 40 pounds I'd been trying to lose for years while doing everything right. Even then, nobody looked at my cortisol, my insulin, my gut, or my sleep. So I built the practice I couldn't find.
At Revival Hormone Health, I bridge conventional and functional medicine. We start by identifying the root cause, then use natural solutions whenever possible, supplements and prescriptions when necessary. The process is Analyze, Stabilize, Optimize, Vitalize, and it's what I install with every patient.
What I believe
"normal" labs are a snapshot of an unhealthy average population, and settling for normal instead of optimal is why so many women stay exhausted, bloated, and sick. Your body isn't lying to you.
